Celebrate GivingTuesday with CASAA!

Much like CASAA, GivingTuesday is a movement driven by a community of givers. Created in 2012, GivingTuesday is all about harnessing the generosity of people all over the world to boost donations to worthy causes by inspiring massive numbers of people to give. This year, the global push for supporting your favorite non-profits takes place on Tuesday, November 30th. GivingTuesday is based on a simple idea: A day that encourages people to do good. It’s an opportunity to use your individual power of generosity to make a real impact, even in these uncertain and stressful times.

Kindness and generosity are what bring people together!

We hope you’ll join us in participating in GivingTuesday this year by donating to CASAA, as well as any other organizations and causes you care about. In times of uncertainty, there’s a fundamental truth that gives us hope – that together we can do extraordinary things!

Giving is something that the vaping community and Tobacco Harm Reduction advocates have been doing on a massive, unacknowledged scale since roughly 2008. Most people may not even realize that their first act of giving is simply sharing their experience with switching to a smoke-free product. Millions of us are grateful to those who shared their stories with us!

While CASAA and other non-profits around the world are asking for donations on Tuesday, we all know that as a result of the pandemic more and more people are facing economic hardship. That being said, sharing is giving and there is no dollar amount we can put on the positive effect your experience may have on others.

Advocating for products that saved our lives may be more difficult now, but no matter the obstacles, it is always worth it.

The potential for vapor products to save the lives of millions – if not a billion people – is too important to give up on. We may have to adapt to new political realities, but if there’s one thing we’ve learned it’s that together our community is capable of incredible things.

CASAA is a 501(c)(4) tax-exempt organization. While CASAA is a non-profit organization and pays no income taxes on the donations it receives, contributions or gifts to CASAA are not deductible by the donor as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.

CASAA’s confidence is not only in the potential of safer nicotine products, but also in YOU. YOUR voice, YOUR story, and YOUR generosity are key to educating officials and neighbors alike.

If you believe that vapor products are improving your life, please help us continue this fight into 2022 by donating. Even just $2 a month can make a difference!

If a donation of money isn’t in the cards for you this year, participate in the free things like sharing your testimonial, speaking at a city council meeting, and writing your federal officials.

Your generous support helps fund our work tracking legislation, alerting consumers, educating officials, and bringing you the latest news and research about tobacco harm reduction. Most important, your donations help us connect you directly with your lawmakers when the time is right to ensure your voice is heard!

P.S. We’re aiming higher than just sustaining our current level of service, so every donation counts! Even if your budget is tight, forwarding this message to a friend (or five) may be very helpful.
